On and off for many years, I've dabbled in writing short stories...

The vast majority of my attempts are lost forever (I hope). However, there are a few stories that I've written over the years that I like. All have elements of fantasy and/or science fiction in them. They range from the totally absurd comedy to the darkest of the dark. Some deal with adult themes, like death, loss and suicide. Don't worry, none are pornographic in any way.

Most of my finished, stand alone work is listed here. At some point in the future, I plan on attaching comments to each story.

I also love commentary, either good, bad or indifferent. If you've got some, please feel free to e-mail me at brian.coe@gte.net.

One last note: While some tell me that I'm an okay storyteller, I'm a horrible speller and only a passable typist. While I have made an effort to clean up all my stories, you will certainly find errors of spelling and grammar. I do try and correct these things, so feel free to point out errors that you find. If they are obvious errors, I'll correct them ASAP. Quibbles about word choice, plot direction, etc. I'll look at, but I make no promises. But also remember: This is a hobby, not a job. Perfection is not required. Fun is. So Enjoy!

--This denotes a story that I am particularly fond of.
